About Us:

CARE Singapore is dedicated to empowering youths at risk, fostering community bonding and promoting mental health awareness through a diverse range of impactful services.

Our mission is to build a better future for the next generation by addressing various needs such as school social work, counseling, parent-teacher trning, positive youth development mentoring, and hearing support initiatives. We are committed to creating comprehensive programs that have been proven effective over years of research and field testing.

Our Services:

School Social Work:

We offer year-long, holistic services designed for Primary and Secondary School students based on evidence-based approaches that have positively affected more than 30,000 lives since our inception in 1997. Our team of professional Youth Workers and Counselors meet with students regularly to provide guidance and support when needed through a rapport-focused relationship.

Counseling:

We provide individual counseling sessions med at boosting self-awareness, knowledge acquisition, skill development, and fostering positive emotions towards school and community engagement.

Parent and Teacher Trning:

In collaboration with schools, we offer trning programs for parents and teachers to enhance their ability to support students' mental health, academic success, and overall well-being.

Positive Youth Development Mentoring:

We provide mentoring services targeting youths in secondary schools. Our trned mentors guide young people towards personal growth, goal-setting, and decision-making.

Hear4U:

Our hearing support initiative provides critical services for individuals facing auditory challenges.

Mental Wellness:

We focus on promoting mental health awareness among students, offering resources and guidance to help them navigate their emotions and build resilience.

Sports Partnership:

Collaboration with sports organizations allows us to engage youths in physical activities that encourage teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.

Program Impact:

Yearly, we serve hundreds of students through our various programs. In 2022 alone, over a thousand students benefitted from our services. We logged more than four thousand counseling hours and provided more than three hundred Hear4U hours since the program's inception in 2021 to 2023.

Our results reflect the significant impact of our efforts:

• Self-awareness increased by 98 among -of-year students

• Knowledge Skills acquisition rate was at 98

• Skill application was reported at 98

• 89 of students showed changes in behavior, attitude, or outlook after participating

• Over 84 expressed positive feelings towards their school and community
