Discover the joy of nurturing your baby's developing taste buds with our session on Nourish: First Foods for Your Baby. Our Maternal and Child Health Nurses will guide you through essential nutrition, feeding strategies, and how to confidently navigate this new phase in your infant's life.
The journey begins with a comprehensive overview where we discuss the basics of solid food introduction at around six months. We'll explore the importance of timing, portion sizes, and the gradual progression from single-ingredient purees to more complex textures as your baby grows accustomed.
Following our session on nutrition and , you will have the opportunity for hands-on experience by wandering through Queen Victoria Market together with us. This walk-through allows you to discover a world of fresh produce and ideas suitable for feeding your baby during this critical stage.
This program is specifically designed for families and caregivers of infants who are about to or recently started eating solids.
